Hi! I’m May Jones, the heart and mind behind Carry Happy and mother to three beautiful daughters. I love babywearing, and genuinely believe it has transformed my life as a parent. I want everyone to have the same chance to experience the joys and advantages babywearing brings.I am certified by the School of Babywearing UK and am actively growing my knowledge and skillset.Carry Happy operates in Mannheim, Germany. I can do remote sessions too, you can get in touch to discuss your needs :)

Why babywearing?

As a parent myself, I have experienced the ups and downs parenting brings, and know first-hand what an incredible tool babywearing is. It can be for you too.Here are some of the reasons I personally love babywearing:
Freedom: there is always a comfortable place for baby wherever you want to go (and whenever!).
Getting things done: baby doesn't want to be alone while there's washing up to do, no problem!
Confidence in parenting skills: being able to soothe your baby quickly and keep them safe is a big win.
Encourages baby's development: boosts parent-child attachment, helps with proper hip and spine development and more!
Doesn't stop with babyhood: whether my toddler is tired, sick, wants some cuddles or just some fun, babywearing is often a perfect tool to have in the bag.And these are just a handful of the amazing benefits babywearing brings!

What do I offer?

Dedicated babywearing sessions

Tailored guidance: You'll receive 1-on-1 attention. It's just you (and your partner), me, and your little one, finding the perfect fit and style to suit your babywearing needs and preferences.Equipped studio: My babywearing studio is a dedicated and comfortable space for you and your family to practicing babywearing. I have a wide range of carriers and slings for you to try out. The studio is a 2 minute walk from the Mannheim Central Station.Safety and confidence: Your baby's safety is my top priority. I provide easy-to-follow instructions and patient guidance, ensuring you feel confident and your baby is secure at all times.English language: As an English-speaking mum in Germany, I know how it can be hard to find help in English. Since it is my native language, I prefer to run my consultations in English (although I do speak German too 🙂).

This is for you if your carrier just doesn't feel right, or maybe you're not sure you're using it correctly and safely. (Virtually) arrive wearing your baby/toddler in your carrier and we'll find the best fit for you both. (For one person only)🧡 Consultation with support - €60

This is for you if you want to (any one of the following):
✔️ learn how to use your carrier/wrap in the best possible way for you and your baby
✔️ learn how to carry your newborn safely in your carrier
✔️ learn how to back carry your baby to truly free up your hands (including babies under 6m)
✔️ find your perfect carrier (EU only)

These packages are all only available in-person in my studio in Mannheim🤰🏽 Newborn Journey - €185 (For expectant parents)
Start your journey right with plenty of time to find what suits your family. Includes 1h consultation pre-birth, 2h consultation post birth & over 1 month remote support with 2 week carrier hire👶 Newborn Foundations - €135 (For new parents)
Baby is already here and you and your partner want to find your perfect carrier(s) and practice using them. Includes 2h consultation & 1 month remote support with 2 week carrier hire🌱 Transition to toddlerhood - €110 (For parents of children 6m+)
You and your baby want to continue carrying beyond the months, but it's getting harder. Includes 1h session with an overview of toddler carriers and practicing hip and back positions. 1 month remote support with 2 week carrier hire⛰️ Newborn back carrying - €135 (For expectant parents or parents of babies under 4m)
Over the course of the first months of your baby's life, I will closely accompany you to learn to safely and confidently carry your baby on your back utilising well proven methods. Includes two 1h sessions with close support in-between and after with 2 week carrier hire
